DESCRIPTION
The M27C160 is a 16 Mbit EPROM offered in the
two ranges UV (ultra violet erase) and OTP (one
time programmable). It is ideall y suited for micro-
processor systems requiring large data or program
storage and is organised as either 2 Mbit word s of
8 bit or 1 Mbit words of 16 bit. T he pin-ou t is com-
patible with a 16 Mbit Mask ROM.
The FDIP 42W (window ceramic frit-seal pac k age)
has a transparent lid which allows th e user t o ex-
pose th e chip to ultraviolet light t o erase the bit pat-
tern. A new pattern can then be written rapidly to
the device by following the programm ing proce-
dure.
For applications where the co nte nt is programmed
only one t im e and erasure is n ot required, the
M27C160 is offered in PDI P42, S D IP42, PLCC44
and SO44 packages.
